We used Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) to study interaction of PfTBP and PfTFIIE with stage specific Plasmodium promoters. Our results indicate that PfTBP and PfTFIIE are bound to their cognate sequence in active and inactive erythrocytic-expressed promoters.
