September 18, 2013 - 15:54 -- Ingeborg van Schayk

Dear Partners in Vector Control,

We are pleased to update you on the status of the newly-established Pan-African Mosquito Control Association. Comprised of vector control and research professionals from Africa and beyond, our membership base has been growing rapidly as we combine efforts towards an Africa free of mosquito-borne diseases.

We invite you to:

  1. Visit our new website and subscribe to our listserv to receive alerts on latest news, resources, jobs and other opportunities (http://pamca.org/). (Note: http://www.pamca.org has been developed using new technologies not supported by Internet Explorer v8 and below – a good excuse for a free IE update!)
  2. Join us to access numerous members’ benefits (http://pamca.org/join/)
  3. Attend our official launch event at the MIM meeting in Durban (http://pamca.org/pamca-official-launch-mim/)
  4. Contact us for further information (info@pamca.org)

We look forward to further supporting the entomology and vector control community through promoting control, research and dissemination of information on mosquitoes in Africa and beyond.
Best regards,

Dr Tessa B. Knox
