WHO? For Tanzanians with a background in life sciences, (technical) engineering, and/or a feel for business development and entrepreneurship. We are looking for ‘out of the box’ thinkers, innovators, dare devils and risk takers.
WHERE and WHEN? IHI premises in Ifakara, 8-19 April (arrival 7th April, departure 20th). Fulltime availability required.
WHAT? Lectures, field visits, brainstorming sessions, use of a novel online tool for business plan development. Working in small teams to develop business plans for new ideas (that you come up with or we can help you with). You will need to bring a laptop.
WHY? Simple: If you do what you did, you will get what you got. If we are to make a difference towards better health we need to start doing things different. Better.

Deadline for submission of your CV and application letter is 26 March 2019. We can host 15-18 participants. Selected candidates will be notified by 1 April.
CERTIFICATE & AWARD: Participants that complete the workshop will receive a certificate. Two of you will receive a (sponsored) stipend to further develop your idea.
COSTS: You arrange your own transport to/from Ifakara. Meals and accommodation will be provided. Drinks you pay yourself.
