Join us for the 13th year of BioMalParb

Malaria remains one of the most significant global public health challenges, with more than 300 million clinical cases world-wide each year. The 13th BioMalPar conference being held 29 - 31 May 2017 at EMBL Heidelberg will be an opportunity to share ideas and develop new worldwide collaborations, as well serve as a training opportunity for the next generation of malaria researchers and scientists from malaria endemic countries. The four main themes include:

  1. Immunobiology and pathophysiology
  2. Parasite molecular and cell biology
  3. Vector parasite interactions
  4. Computational and Systems Biology

Speaking sessions will focus on offering speaking opportunities for early stage researchers, and the meeting structure includes multiple parallel “meet the investigator” discussion panels along with numerous networking opportunities. We hope that the meeting will inspire the next generation of malaria scientists, and deepen the fruitful collaborative links between the broader research community. Abstract submission closes 3 March and registration will be open until 20 April. We hope to see you there!

Keynote Speakers:

  • Philip Bejon, KEMRI Wellcome Trust Research Programme, Kenya
