EXPERIENCES:
 
·Mosquito sampling survey in some microfilaraemic villages in Nile Delta, using sampling outdoor traps as well as indoor sampling.
 
·Participating in microfilaria following up program in endemic villages by sampling mosquito vector (xenomonitoring)
 
·Studying the effectiveness of vector control environmental measures on microfilaria prevalence in Nile Delta villages, using both dissection and PCR as a diagnostic technique for Ssp1 repeat specific for Wuchereria bancrofti and this is my master degree point.
 
·Efficacy of gravid trap as a sampling technique for monitoring lymphatic filariasis following mass drug administration program.
 
·Mosquito taxonomy using different keys for external morphology of adult mosquito as well as larval mosquito.
 
·Actively participated in training courses for national and regional technicians from Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMRO), sponsored by World Health Organization.
 
·Teaching multidisciplinary courses in Entomology Department included in practical sessions.
 
·Actively supervised fieldwork team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, upon an invitation from Jeddah municipality to carry out pilot surveillance on vector borne dengue fever disease extended for 10 days.
 
·Participated in baseline studies (terrestrial ecology) in relation to EIA in El Sokhna power plant, 2008. ·Working for RAE Company for environmental studies and consulting as a medical entomologist, Riyadh, KSA, 2008.
