Thorpe Legacy Studentships: Two studentships funded by the Thorpe Legacy will provide full payment of stipend, tuition fees (at UK/EC rates) and £6,000 per year research costs for 3 years, from 1st October 2010. REDMAL PhD studentship: One studentship is available from 1st October 2010, covering stipend and tuition fees for a period of three years. The project is entitled Immune responses to Pfs48/45 in malaria endemic settings and their relevance for the human infectious reservoir’and will be carried out within the EC FP6-funded REDMAL consortium. BBSRC DTG PhD Studentship: One studentship is available in the Pathogen Molecular Biology Unit within the Department of Infectious & Tropical Diseases. This studentship covers a 4 year doctoral (PhD) programme in this internationally renowned research-based institution, commencing October 2010. The studentship will cover full tuition fees at Home/EU level as well as an annual maintenance grant.
