Organization: ACT Consortium
Closing date: 20 March 2013
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to act as Policy Liaison Co-ordinator for the ACT Consortium: someone with a technical understanding of malaria, its diagnosis and control, and able, ideally, to undertake data analysis and to develop policy briefs. This post offers a superb opportunity to act at the interface of high quality research and the dynamic policy and programme environment of malaria control.
The Consortium has been working hard over recent years to generate information on the use of RDTs in public, private and community sectors, and to understand the safety and quality of ACTs in practice. This year we expect a flourish of results. The new Policy Liaison Co-ordinator will be responsible for ensuring our results reach the people who are best-placed to act on them.
The appointee will have experience of working and living in a malaria endemic country and an extensive network of contacts in the malaria world. Please see http://jobs.lshtm.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?ref=DS3 for more details, or contact Prof. David Schellenberg, ACT Consortium Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about the position.
